Q: How much do you charge?

A: Our base hourly charge is currently $65 per hour. There are also additional fees for services that require travel, truck and equipment. These additional fees vary depending on the size of your load and the distance travelled. Don't worry, these fees are generally small and are included in your estimate.

Q: What if I have more than I planned, do I need a new estimate?

A: No, final costs will be effected but it is not a problem if it turns out you have much more than you originally expected when you first spoke with us about your move.  It is important that you inform us the moment you realize you have much more than expected and let us know about any additional furniture items you need us to move. Generally we will arrive with the sufficient truck size and equipment necessary for the load size we discussed with you. Informing us on any changes ahead of time will allow us to be properly prepared.

Q: My move is complex, I think a telephone estimate will be too difficult, will you do an on site estimate?

A: Absolutely. If you are in the Akron/Canton area we provide free on-site estimates. This is highly beneficial for you because you get the awesome opportunity to meet your potential movers before making the decision to hire them. Typically we can give accurate estimates via telephone but if you prefer an on-site simply let us know!

Q: My estimate with another company was much lower, why should I choose Moto Movers?

A: Our prices are extremely low and any other trustworthy moving company will have a terribly hard time beating our prices. First make sure the length in the estimate is realistic. For example, an estimate of 3 total hours of labor (loading AND unloading) for a full 26' truck's worth of property is simply unrealistic. If another company has a genuine lower estimate, remember that with Moto Movers you are working with the most skilled and most fun group of movers.

Q: What happens if my move ends faster than expected?

A: If your move takes less time than predicted in the estimate you will only be charged for the actual amount of time we worked beyond the minimum (1 hr minimum for partial service or half service moves. 2 hr minimum for full service moves). We generally give our estimates on the high end of what we expect to avoid an unexpected final cost. Sometimes your move may take longer than estimated. We take pride in being the hardest working movers you've ever hired, all while taking the upmost care of your property. If your move takes longer you will still be charged for the amount of time we worked.

Q: Do you do long distances moves?

A: Absolutely. We handle pricing differently for long distance moves. Instead of an hourly rate there is a flat rate. A flat rate is a set price for your move that will not change regardless of how long your move takes. This allows us to take the extra time needed to protect and secure your property for the long trip without the stress over time and expenses. 

Q: Are you insured and bonded?

A: Yes, Moto Movers is in full compliance with the federal and state regulating authorities. 

Q: I'm a bit further out than what would be classified as "surrounding areas," would you service my move?

A: Yes! The mileage travelled will be a part of your final costs, however, our prices generally will still be competitive even with local movers near you. If you have a fairly large move we especially would recommend calling us. Even when our price is not the lowest, remember, we offer the highest of quality services!
